I’ve Purchased a Domain Name, and some hosting (with a separate company). How do I link the two?”
This is a very common question, often repeatedly answered by our Live Help technicians, and more often than not, via email. The answer lies within the Nameservers that you receive in the “Welcome Email”, upon processing your order with a Host. Nameservers are used to transfer the request to a server IP Address, which then processes the account.
To be specific, you place your Nameservers in the domain name. This is often done through your registrar’s control panel. It is the most basic of features, so all of them should have it. So, when the domain is loaded, it checks theNameservers. Refer to your activation email for our nameservers.
Upon loading the Nameservers, the IP Address contained within them is processed, and the link to the server has been successfully created!
